Seattle’s Hidden Kosher Meat Restaurant

independant-living

Folks that keep Kosher in Seattle often lament the lack of a meat restaurant. You may not know that we actually do have one, it just isn’t open very often. The Summit at First Hill Retirement home opens its doors to the public a few times a year.

A meal from earlier this year (also included Wine/Beer & Dessert):

Appetizers:

  • Spicy tuna rice cake
  • The Chef’s version of a Seahawks gameday favorite he’s calls the Stadium Kau Kau

Entrees:

  • Savory beef cheek enchiladas
  • Fresh Chilean sea bass
  • Handmade gnocchi with rich lamb ragout.

We went a few years ago and it was really great food and a great atmosphere! The next one is September 1st, the cost has ranged from $60 to $70, and you can contact Chris Eager at The Summit for more information (206 456-9705).
